  I will be DJing at Lounge AC30 on Wednesday evening, spinning everything from Shoegaze to Indie Electronic. However, perhaps of more curiosity, I will be previewing the new Oppressed by the Line disc, which is fresh from being mastered. Entitled “The Cause of the Colour”, the track listing is as follow:

  I sit in the dim glow of my laptop screen late on a Sunday evening with the warm comforting feeling of accomplishment flowing through me, knowing that:

  the mixing of my mini-album is completely finished and
  four of the six tracks have been mastered

  What this means is that the debut OBTL release is just around the corner. […]

Oppressed by the Line started as Of Normandy, a 4-track diversion for guitarist Jon Thompson -- a chance for him to break out of his shell and try his hand at vocals. Two songs from those original 4-track sessions survived to make it onto his debut release a mini-album entitled "The Cause of the Colour". [...]
