Here it goes again. Records that have been monopolising my iTunes.
- Fenton – Pup
Instrumental soundscaped bliss. This is it’s second appearance on this list but it’s well deserved. - Epic45 -DrakelowThe masters of melancholic pastoral beauty bring it forth again with this 8 track disc that is a great follow-up to thier England Falling Over, cleansing the pallet instrumental aural explorations before the forthcoming and much anticipated re-release of the epic(no pun intended) Slides. Last indication was that the reissue will also include the extremely limited edition Long Walks EP. Also looking forward to a forthcoming LP of all new material.
- Ms. John Soda – Notes and the LikeThis picks up right where No P or D left off…with great pop sensibilities, excellent production and effortless momentum.
- Televise – Songs to Sing in E & A
This is a strong album which brings all the previous hints of good things to come to a head. Amazing guitar sounds and strong rhythm section keep things moving along while Simon Scott’s youthful voice soars overhead.
